Warehouse Shipping - Seasonal Temp

We are looking for a few warehouse workers, short term, for our Fulfillment Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York, helping us deliver an excellent level of service for our eCommerce and Wholesale customers.

Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, super detail oriented environment with a focus on the end result; exceeding customer satisfaction. Our eCommerce business is growing rapidly, so we're looking for people with a positive attitude that can grow with the business and help establish Rough Trade as the Number 1 place to buy records online.

Starting pay is $16.50/hr. This is a temp position starting very soon and will last a few weeks into October. We will need you 40 hours a week, M-F from 10AM-6:30PM until the high volume orders are done.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Picking & Packing high volume orders with a focus on speed, accuracy, efficiency, and care.
2. Focusing on getting a large volume of vinyl records packed and out the door within a specific timeframe, while paying attention to the details.
3. Shipping orders through U.S. Mail and other carriers.
4. Maintain a neat, clean & organized work environment.

Must be organized, hardworking, confident, trustworthy, diligent, and reliable. Ideal candidates should also possess the following skills / experience:

1. Hyper attention to detail.
2. Record shop or record warehouse experience is a must.
3. Fast Learner.
4. Positive team member.
5. Passionate about delivering an excellent level of customer service -A loving knowledge of music a plus!
6. Ability to comfortably lift and move boxes and bags weighing up to 50 lbs.
