Accounts Assistant

We are looking for someone with a good ground knowledge of accounts to join our accounts team for this permanent role in Nottingham.

Required Skills:

  • Working Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
  • Proficient with Excel / Google Sheets
  • Good understanding of Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and time management

Duties:

  • Reconciling of Purchase Invoices/Credits
  • Input of Purchase Invoices/Credits
  • Filing of Purchase Invoices/Credits
  • Reconcile monthly supplier statements – chase missing invoices/credits – update accruals
  • Raising Sales invoices
  • Credit control
  • Communication with Stores & Suppliers
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Cover for Head of Accounts
