Accounts Assistant

This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to build up their skills & experience in a fast-paced accounts role.

We are looking for someone with a good ground knowledge of accounts to join our accounts team for this permanent role in Nottingham.  

This is a 30 hour + per week role with the option of splitting hours over Monday-Friday meaning it could be perfect for someone looking for a role to fit around family or other commitments.

Required Skills:

  • Working Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts.
  • Proficient with Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Good understanding of Purchase and Sales Ledger.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills and time management.

Duties:

  • Reconciling of Purchase Invoices/Credits.
  • Input of Purchase Invoices/Credits.
  • Filing of Purchase Invoices/Credits.
  • Reconcile monthly supplier statements.
  • Raising Sales invoices.
  • Credit control.
  • Communication with Stores & Suppliers.
